PII Redaction

CoLoop allows you to redact PII (personally identifiable information) from certain file types.
When you can redact PII:
You can choose to redact PII from when you transcribe audio and video files in CoLoop. When entering transcription information you can select the PII you'd like redacted from the final transcript.

If you forgot to redact PII and have already transcribed your audio and video files using CoLoop, please select 'Re-do Transcription' to include any relevant PII policies.
When you can't redact PII:
You can't redact PII from transcripts you upload into CoLoop at docx. or txt. files.
You can't redact PII from excel files.
You can't redact PII from community data files (ie from Recollective, Qualzy or incling).
PII policies include:
Banking information: Banking information, including account and routing numbers.
Blood type: Blood type.
Credit card CVV: Credit card verification code.
Credit card expiry: Expiration date of a credit card.
Credit card number: Credit card number.
Date: Specific calendar date.
Date of birth: Date of birth.
Driver's license: Driver's license number.
Drug: Medications, vitamins, or supplements.
Duration: Length of time or duration of an event.
Email address: Email address.
Event: Name of an event or holiday.
Filename: Name of a file.
Gender sexuality: Terms indicating gender identity or sexual orientation, including slang terms.
Healthcare number: Healthcare numbers and health plan beneficiary numbers.
IP Address: Internet IP address, including IPv4 and IPv6 formats.
Injury: Bodily injury.
Language: Name of a natural language.
Location: Any Location reference including mailing address, postal code, city, state, province, or country.
Marital status: Marital status information.
Medial process: Medical process, including treatments, procedures, and tests.
Medical condition: Name of a medical condition, disease, syndrome, deficit, or disorder.
Money amount: Name and/or amount of currency.
Nationality: Terms indicating nationality, ethnicity, or race.
Number sequence: A "lazy" rule that redacts any sequence of numbers equal to or greater than 2
Occupation: Job title or profession.
Organization: Name of an organization.
Passport number: Passport numbers, issued by any country.
Password: Account passwords, PINs, access keys, or verification answers.
Person age: Number associated with an age.
Person name:Name of a person.
Phone number: Telephone or fax number.
Physical attribute: Descriptions of physical characteristics or attributes.
Political affiliation: Terms referring to a political party, movement, or ideology.
Religion: Terms indicating religious affiliation.
Social security number: Social Security Number or equivalent.
Statistics: Numerical data or statistics.
Time: Specific time or time of day.
URL: Internet addresses.
Username: Usernames, login names, or handles.
Vehicle ID: Vehicle identification numbers (VINs), vehicle serial numbers, and license plate numbers.
Zodiac sign: Astrological sign of the zodiac.
